Midnight Cowboy is a 1969 American buddy drama film. Based on the 1965 novel of the same name by James Leo Herlihy, the film was written by Waldo Salt, directed by John Schlesinger, and stars Jon Voight and Dustin Hoffman, with notable smaller roles being filled by Sylvia Miles, John McGiver, Brenda Vaccaro, Bob Balaban, Jennifer Salt, and Barnard Hughes. Set in New York City, Midnight Cowboy depicts the unlikely friendship between two hustlers: naive prostitute Joe Buck (Voight), and ailing con man "Ratso" Rizzo (Hoffman).
The film won three Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay. Midnight Cowboy is the only X-rated film ever to win Best Picture (though such a classification no longer exists), and was the first LGBT Best Picture winner. It has since been placed 36th on the American Film Institute's list of the 100 greatest American films of all time, and 43rd on its 2007 updated version.
In 1994, Midnight Cowboy was deemed "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant" by the Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry.
This delicatessen was truly amazing, we went there for our lunch as they made us the most incredible bread rolls filled with fresh tomatoes, prosciutto, mortadella, salami, cheese and yummy white anchovies for a crazy price. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to please the six of us. If only I lived in Positano I would be there every day, Fantastico!

Neither Michael Jordan nor LeBron James. Pete Maravich may have been the best basketball player of all time, but he was not and never will be. Pistol Pete was a visionary, a young man touched by the magic wand that revolutionized the sport of the basket in the seventies. If he had played in our times, it would be news on social networks daily and the subject of countless compilations of YouTube.
Pete was a mix of Stephen Curry and JR Smith, but it was too soon. His prodigious talent, combined with his tendency to self-destruction, made him a misunderstood player. All this, combined with his fondness for extraterrestrials, drinking and Jesus Christ, made him the toy broken par excellence.
From very small, Pete showed some supernatural abilities with the ball, that did not do more than to increase with the insane routines of handling of ball that it forced to him to realize his father. That boy bounced the ball in the middle of the cinema and even from the window of a moving car, and later in his career Pete recognized that in his youth he became a "basketball droid".

In all the history of the NCAA, nobody has surpassed the 3667 total points that Maravich scored between 1967 and 1970. When he was only 40, the uncle declared to the media that he was "down", and the important thing is that he was not kidding. Pete was a perfectionist who was never satisfied. He only carried the weight of the team, and his father knew it very well - "he has more pressure than any other boy in all America" - but he did not care either.
Pete Maravich also known by his nickname Pistol Pete, was an American professional basketball player. Maravich was born in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area, and raised in the Carolinas. Maravich starred in college at Louisiana State University (LSU). He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He played for three NBA teams until injuries forced his retirement in 1980. He is the all-time leading NCAA Division Iscorer with 3,667 points scored and an average of 44.2 points per game. All of his accomplishments were achieved before the adoption of the three point line and shot clock, and despite being unable to play varsity as a freshman under then-NCAA rules.

KNICKS RECORD2017 -2018 Season 29 WINS 53 LOST "BAD"2016 - 2017 Season 31 WINS 51 LOST "PRETTY Fing BAD"2014 -2015 Season 17 WINS 65 LOST "SUCKS"As of January 30, 2019 the Knicks record so far for the 2018 / 19 Seaso is10 Wins & 40 Losses, "That Fucking Sucks!" The KNICKS SUCK so Bad it isn't even funny, and not just this year. Look at their "PISS POOR" Record in the past few years? This team is Pitiful, and collectively for the last 5 Years "The Worst NY KNICKS Team" in the history of the frachise. Thhey "Fucking Suck" ! Am I making myself clear here? The KNICKS SUCK !!! The loyal fans do not deserve this. I've heard of teams being bad, but this is rediculous. At this point in the season with a disgustingly HORRIBLE win loss recor of 10 Wins and 40 Losses the Knicks are on pace to have the Worst Record in New York Knickerbocker History if the finish with a record of 15 Wins & 67 Losses or worse which the current Knicks are on pace to do. "They Suck." And I really don't care that much, I'm not really a fan of NBA Basketball, which I think SUCKS, I'd much rather watch College Basketball which as an overall experience of watching better basketball games and overall feel of basketball, the experience of watching premier college basketball is superior than watching any NBA game at all, which to me and a multitude of others just quite simply sucks, just like the Knicks, who of all NBA Teams, the Knicks Suck the most. As a proud New York, it's one thing to have a Professional New York Sports Team have one or two bad seasons, but this team has been pretty dam bad for the past 5 year or so. In fact, guess what? They "Suck."
When is PORZY Coming Back ?
Kristap Porkingis has been one of the few Bright Lights for the Knicks in the past few years. Only Problem? He's been injured and not playing for more than a year now. When is he coming back?
Bill Bradley
Back when the Knicks were great. Bill Bradley played on a great Knick team with the likes of players like; Walt "Clyde" Frazier, Willis Reed, Dave DeBusschere, Cazzie Russell, Dick Barnett, Dave Stallworth, and Mike Riordn. The won the NBA Championship in 1969 / 1970 , with a season record of 60 Wins against 22 losses. The 1972 / 73 Knicks had a record of W 57 - L 25 and Wond The NBA Champiships again under Coach Red Holtzman again. They still had Walt Frazier, Willis Red, Bill Bradley, Dick Barnett, and Dave DeBusschere, but this time with the additon of the Awesome Earl "The Pearl" Monroe, Dean "The Dream" Meminger, Jerry Lucas, and Phil Jackson.
Oh by The WAY "The GIANTS SUCK" Too !!!!
2018 NY GIANTS - WINS 5 - LOSSES 11 "They SUCK" But not quite as Bad as 20182017 NY GIANTS 3 WINS 13 LOSSES "THEY SUCK" WORST GIANT TEAM EVER !!!
ELI & SAQUON
SAQUON Was GREAT !!!
ELI ???
Runningback Saquon Barkely was a very Bright Star for the New York Giants this year. He had a phenominal Rookie Season gaining more than 2,000 Yards Total Offense Ruuning and Pass Recieving, the most any Rookie Runningback has ever gained in the History of The NFL
